Laura Daili presented New Collection FRAGMENTED MEMORIES at Riga Fashion Week \

The new collection, inspired by memories and cultural heritage. „Creating pieces that are not only beautiful but also conceptual, high-quality, and sustainable is important to me,” says designer Laura Dailidėnienė.

Her latest collection is dedicated to those who appreciate art, fashion, and the cultural heritage of Lithuania, blending modern trends with deeper messages about culture, history, and values. The collection reflects Laura’s memories from historic sites and museums, particularly inspired by Lithuania’s late-Baroque architecture and interiors. Each garment holds hidden stories within its design details—from palace legends to coded messages from the past, delicately inscribed in script. Flowing forms and vaulted silhouettes are present throughout, bringing this historic style to life in each garment’s structure and details. The silhouettes evoke the dynamism and fluidity typical of the era’s aesthetic, while the weathered palace walls—with their layered patinas—symbolize the passage of time and generations. Hand made glass details, crafted to resemble melting candle wax, enhance the collection with a vintage touch. A unique element of this collection is inspired by the designer’s grandfather, a choral conductor, whose handwritten notes on Lithuanian classical music history from the 17th–19th centuries motivated the creation of a distinct fabric pattern. Rediscovering silk, Laura’s collection includes a range from chiffon and organza to taffeta, along with structured, tailored wool pieces that add a menswear-inspired edge. Laura Daili continues to seek harmony between aesthetic appeal and meaningful storytelling, endowing each garment with both beauty and rich cultural context.
